Oatka Creek Park is located in Monroe County New York.
It is a mostly natural place now where mother nature is
reclaiming what was once gypsum mining operations and
abandoned farm fields. (Click on any picture for larger view.)
Fungi appeared this particular year around the end of July and were quite spectacular. Some years seem to produce few mushrooms. They are generally found in the heavily shaded forested areas.
